SERDYUKS (SHOCKTROOPER)

The Serdyuks are the heavy-hitting shock troops of the Cossack lines — broader, stronger infantrymen who earn their glory in the crush of close combat. They wear no cumbersome armour, trading protection for speed so they can reach enemy trenches before the foe recovers from the barrage. Their weapons are built for devastation: two-handed sabres that carve through helmets and bone, or massive war hammers that smash dugouts and men alike. When the Serdyuks charge, it is with a roar that drowns even the guns — a storm of steel meant to break the enemy line by sheer, unstoppable force.
Serdyuks rarely fight in long engagements. They strike, overwhelm, and move on, leaving shattered wood, shattered steel, and shattered morale behind them. To fight beside them is to witness fury given purpose. Yet their fury is not blind — it is sharpened by discipline, honed by centuries of tradition. They move like a tide, coordinated and relentless, each blow echoing the will of the steppe. To enemies, they are chaos incarnate; to comrades, they are the embodiment of courage. Where Serdyuks pass, the battlefield itself seems to remember, scarred by the weight of their charge and the thunder of their war cry.

Their charge leaves echoes long after battle, a memory carved into earth and bone, reminding all that fury can become destiny fulfilled.
